Job Description: Managing the overall service of linguists for assigned languages through analysis of data, feedback and business reviews with freelancers. Identifying and attracting talent to ensure stability and growth in line with SDL’s current project requirements. Advising PMOs on external teams to use for projects and building up strong teams for key accounts. Monitoring cost and ensuring balanced usage of linguists. Representing SDL’s brand and increasing SDL’s presence in the market through networking and relationship building. Key Responsibilities uality, capacity and utilisation management Ensuring adequate capacity is in place for assigned language set Monitoring external talent utilisation and ensuring balanced usage Informing PMOs of new freelancers added, and promoting and monitoring their active integration in live projects Consulting with PMOs on strategy for outsourcing on all accounts Overseeing successful onboarding of linguists onto accounts Tracking and evaluating the quality of external linguists for all assigned languages, incl. organisation of quality evaluations Tracking the overall service of delivery of external linguists including responsiveness and reliability Identifying potential risk areas and creating action plans to mitigate the risks Designing and executing quality improvement action plans Holding regular business reviews with linguists to go through quality feedback
